How to get started
Each licence is tied to one computer, so activation takes one short message with us.
- Install Vetzana on the clinic computer: download the installer and run it. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
- Choose your plan. Message us by email or WhatsApp with your clinic's name and the plan you want, and we send you a secure Paddle checkout link. Card details go only into Paddle's checkout, never into the software or to us.
- Send us your machine code. The software shows it on its first screen, with a Copy button.
- Activate. We send your licence within one business day. Paste it in and set up your clinic in a few minutes.
- Renewal is automatic. Your subscription renews at the end of each period, and your licence is renewed with it.
Questions
Does it need the internet?
No. Everything works offline. The internet is only used to send WhatsApp and email messages and to download updates.
Where is my clinic's data stored? Can you see it?
All records, photos and attachments are stored on your own computer. We never receive or have access to them. The software includes one-click backups and optional weekly automatic backups to a folder or USB drive of your choice.
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Each subscription covers one computer. For a second computer, take a second subscription. If you replace or repair your computer, we move your licence to the new one at no charge.
What happens if I cancel or a payment fails?
The software keeps working normally for 14 days after the licence ends. After that it becomes read-only: you can still open, search, print and export everything, but you cannot add or change records until you renew. Your data is never deleted.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you ask within 14 days of any payment, you get a full refund. See our refund policy.
How do WhatsApp reminders work?
You link your clinic's own WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code, the same way as WhatsApp's linked devices. Messages are then sent from your number, one at a time with pauses and a daily limit, and each message names the pet and the vaccine or visit that's due. We recommend using a dedicated clinic number. Reminders can also be sent by email.
Which payment methods can I use?
Paddle, our reseller, accepts major credit and debit cards and other methods depending on your country. The options are shown at checkout.
Does it run on Mac?
Not yet. Vetzana currently runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).
Are updates included?
Yes. New versions are included in every plan and install themselves. Your data, licence and settings are always kept.
